Pop signs Internet access partnership with BB

Brazilian Internet access provider Pop has signed a deal to provide services for customers of the country's largest bank, Banco do Brasil (BB), Pop said in a statement. BB has 5.5 million customers that could potentially use Internet banking services, and the bank wants the Pop partnership to boost use of this channel by 5% over the next six months. The bank will put a link on its homepage to allow customers to download the Pop dialer. The partnership initially covers the 111 cities in the south, center-west and north of Brazil.
