The intervention of the National Communications Entity (ENACOM) will deliver the 80,000 tablets that it found without a defined destination during an audit. For their delivery, a new program was developed, which will take advantage of the technological advancement with satellite internet and new applications for use in rural schools.

With the objective of establishing a functional and operational reorganization of the regulator, intervention of ENACOM was carried out from January this year with the purpose of reviewing the judicial and administrative processes, preparing a report on its status and establishing recommendations for its future development in order to guarantee an effective framework for the operation of its programs.

Within this developing process, the “Connecting With You” Program is still under review to analyze all the data related to its implementation: costs, geographical distribution, quantity, software, access, etc.

Along these lines, one of the main decisions of the current management is the arrival of new technologies, such as satellite internet, in order to increase connectivity coverage and thus reach rural schools.

This new program will include an application to access various books on multiple topics, expanding the knowledge possibilities of all students.
