The Ministry of Public Works, Services and Housing delivered a total of Bs.183,291,944.67 in housing, roads and telecommunications works to the department of Tarija as a tribute for its 207th anniversary.

“Housing Bs.74 million; roads Bs.106 million and in telecommunications more than Bs.2.5 million. In all departments, our brother President delivers, day after day, on average, 6 works per day,” reported the head of this State portfolio, Edgar Montaño, at a press conference.

Among the works delivered, Montaño highlighted the rehabilitation and construction works of the Villa Montes – La Vertiente – Palo Marcado highway section with an investment of Bs. 106.6 million and a length of 45 kilometers, since this is part of the southern bioceanic highway corridor that unites Bolivia with Paraguay.

“The corridor is more than 971 kilometers long, but the important thing is that it will save (travel) time,” he said.

The Government delivered 1,081 homes with an investment of Bs 74.1 million for the benefit of the municipalities of: Entre Ríos, Padcaya, Uriondo, El Puente, Bermejo, Yunchará, Cercado, Villa Montes and Yacuiba.

Telecommunications
