With the recent acquisition of Generali Colombia Seguros Generales and its subsidiary Generali Colombia Vida Compañia de Seguros by German insurance conglomerate Talanx Group from Italy's Generali Group, BNamericas looks at where the newly acquired firms were positioned within the Colombian insurance market in May 2017, drawing on data provided by sector regulator (Superfinanciera).
