Santa Fe port concession bidding rules available

Bnamericas
Bidding rules have gone on sale for an international tender to operate a container and general cargo terminal at Argentine port Santa Fe, port administrator "Ente Administrador Puerto Santa Fe" announced. The rules cost 3,500 pesos (US$1,200) and will be available through February 28, with offers due March 30. The contract would run 10 years. The terminal currently moves bulk cargo, specifically agricultural and hydrocarbon shipments. The concessionaire would develop the terminal to handle containerized cargo as well. Today's bulk cargo volume falls well below the 2-3Mt/y the port moved several years ago. The port skirts the city of Santa Fe, capital of the province of the same name, and is 584km upstream from Buenos Aires. It serves the country's principal soy growing region.
