Search begins to operate Guyana gas-to-energy project’s pipeline
ExxonMobil Guyana has issued a request for information (RFI) for an onshore pipeline as part of the country’s natural gas-to-energy project.
The call seeks detailed technical information from suppliers to meet the company’s bid selection requirements for the operation and maintenance of the 25km duct.
The project will transport a maximum of 60Mf3/d (million cubic feet per day) of gas from the Stabroek offshore block to a 300MW power plant and natural gas liquids facility.
The RFI falls under the country’s local content framework and documents are due by December 15, according to the procurement notice. A prospective business associates form is available here.
A request for proposals would follow in February.
