Subtel summons new WOM leadership to address compliance with commitments

Due to the changes in the management of the company Wom Chile, the Undersecretariat of Telecommunications summoned the new general manager of the firm, Mr. Martín Vaca, to a meeting to discuss the company's projections in the country and compliance with the commitments adopted with the State of Chile.
The main objective of Subtel is to ensure the correct functioning of telecommunications services and the fulfillment of the digital connectivity projects that the different companies in the sector have acquired with the State of Chile and, therefore, with the people. For this reason, the purpose of the meeting is to know the status of the commitments expressed by the previous administration of Wom Chile, such as the completion of the National Fiber Optic and 5G projects, in addition to maintaining the connectivity of its more than eight million users, as confirmed by the previous general manager of the company in a meeting held on April 1.
The meeting will take place at the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications next Tuesday, April 9.
