SulAmérica wins McDonald's policy

Brazilian insurance group SulAmérica walked away with the policy to insure McDonald's operations in Brazil, the news service of the Brazilian federation for private insurers, the Fenaseg, reported. SulAmérica will administer the insurance coverage of McDonald's franchised stores and also provide life and auto coverage for the burger giant in Brazil. Information on the value of the premium was not provided. Insurance broker Lazam-mds brokered the insurance contract for the fourth year in a row on the behalf of McDonald's. SulAmérica is Brazil's second largest insurance group and Dutch financial services giant ING (NYSE: ING) holds a 49% stake in the company.
