Teclan to focus on VoIP in 2005

Brazilian call center software company Teclan will focus on growing in the VoIP segment during 2005 and will align its platform of products accordingly, the online service of World Telecom magazine reported. Teclan, founded 13 years ago, has an installed base responsible for the operation of 35 million telephone contacts a month and its annual revenue this year is forecast at 8mn reais (US$2.96mn). Working with technology developed internally, Teclan holds close to 5% of the computer telephony integration (CTI) software market and is present in 5,300 points of service in call centers in Brazil.
