Telefónica Tech launches Google Cloud by acens to accelerate the digitization of SMEs
Madrid, May 18, 2021 . acens , a company recently integrated into Telefónica Tech and an expert in cloud solutions for SMEs, has announced the launch of Google Cloud by acens, which allows companies to easily access Google Cloud technology for the deployment of cloud services ( GCP), and email and collaborative work solutions (Workspace), always with advice and support in Spanish by specialist technicians, with the possibility of delegated management, if they wish, so that they can focus on their business.
The new value proposition of Google Cloud by acens will allow SMEs to accelerate their growth with a return on investment of more than 200% in just three years, according to a study conducted by IDC. With this service, SMEs can face their most complex digital challenges in a simple way with the guarantee and experience of acens certified specialists, who will advise them from the beginning of the project on the most appropriate architecture for their type of business. The SME will be able to choose this service in different modalities depending on their IT needs:
- Google Cloud by managed acens: the acens team is directly in charge of the deployment, operation and management of the client's infrastructure, with support in Spanish for both billing and service.
- Google Cloud by self-managed acens: includes the configuration of access to the Google Cloud platform and billing support in Spanish, with the possibility for the client to request direct support with Google.
In its commitment to bring the broadest technology offering to SMEs, acens has also incorporated Google Workspace solutions into its service offering. With Google Workspace the SME has in a single place all the business productivity and collaboration tools necessary for their business, which allows among other possibilities to share calendar between employees, schedule meetings and automatic invitations via email, make calls from any device, share screen to work in a team, edit documents with simultaneous work and save changes in the cloud among other functions. And all this with the confidence of having the data protected by being able to define the security settings, with options such as two-step verification or single sign-on among other functionalities related to the security of Google services.
With the launch of Google Cloud by acens, the Spanish cloud expert company thus completes its Multicloud offer, which already has recently announced agreements with both Microsoft Azure and AWS. “Google Cloud by acens allows us to accompany companies in their process of digital transformation and growth regardless of their business needs. Thanks to the flexibility and scalability of the Google cloud, and its concept of open cloud, we can propose a multitude of scenarios and movements of workloads to the cloud, through services based on free software that provide great adaptability: from a small business that simply needs to provide service to customers and employees through the internet, from companies that require advanced IT solutions deployed globally among the different regions, to companies that develop services called "Cloud native", which require levels of very high automation and scalability that gives them the flexibility to move their workloads while reducing vendor lock-in. And all this without the need for a large investment, by paying only for what is used and advised by our specialized staff ”, says Ricardo de la Cruz, Head of Cloud Products & Professional Services at acens.
"We are very pleased to expand our alliance with Telefónica and together with acens, to help Spanish SMEs in their modernization needs and achieve their digital transformation objectives. With this launch, we will work together to accelerate the digital transformation of companies to Google Cloud and modernize their critical business infrastructures through solutions based on open cloud standards. In addition, and in the face of new challenges in terms of productivity, where a large number of companies are implementing hybrid work models, Google Workspace offers the only productivity solution designed from the ground up to work in the cloud and that includes all the functionalities that an SME needs to help their employees make the most of their time, collaborate efficiently and achieve better results, wherever they are and in a completely safe way ”, indicates Brice Crabbe, Head of Ibe ria, Telco partners of Google Cloud.
How does the SME improve productivity with Google Cloud by acens?
- Digitization of the company and ease of use of services by employees : free software, by its nature and characteristics, offers great flexibility and adaptability of the platforms necessary for services. Google is considered one of the leaders in the field of open source and many of its services are natively integrated with most of the devices on the market (mobiles, tablets, laptops ...), simplifying the deployment and migration of workloads to the cloud.
- Modernize applications and infrastructures with the latest technologies: For example, with Kubernetes , the most popular container organization system, applications deployments or updates can be easily automated, reducing implementation costs and taking advantage of an environment PaaS like the one offered by Google Cloud.
- Distribution of local workloads to the cloud or deployment of services in multiple regions: through Hybrid Cloud solutions, maintaining your current infrastructure by overflowing to the cloud for reasons of scalability or availability of services. If, in addition, due to its activity, it has a presence abroad, Proyectos Google Cloud by acens offers the possibility of geographically distributing the infrastructure in different data centers so that it can adapt to the regulations of each country and optimize access to services.
- Visualize data and make decisions in real time, thanks to the use of solutions such as Cloud Vision, Cloud Speech, Cloud Translation, Cloud Natural Language and Cloud Video Intelligence integrated into their services. You can also train custom machine learning models without the need for advanced knowledge with AutoML , it even allows you to create virtual agents to increase customer satisfaction.
- Optimize customer service leveraging the value of data : Google Cloud by acens allows you to exploit unstructured information, for example, through the Transition from Data Lake to Data Warehouse in batch or streaming, or access and analysis of large volumes of data in a simple way with Big Query using the standard of the SQL language.
- Reduce CO 2 : Taking a cloud-focused approach can help reduce global carbon (CO 2 ) emissions, promote greater circularity, and foster more sustainable work environments, products, and services.
To facilitate knowledge and better use of each of the benefits of these services, Formación acens has published free and open access courses, with explanatory videos:
In addition, there will be two help days for service customers in the coming days:
- Thursday, May 20: Google Cloud by acens event
- Tuesday, May 25: Google Workspace event
