Telsur expands WLL network

Southern Chilean regional telco Telsur has expanded its wireless local loop network in Chile's X Region, local press reported. A consortium between Japan's Mitsubishi and local network integrator Teknos implemented WLL network equipment developed by the US-based Airspan Networks (Nasdaq: AIRN). Network expansion is centered on the cities of Puerto Montt, Valdivia and Osorno.
