The deadline to tender Line No. 2 of the Bogotá Metro is extended

Empresa Metro de Bogotá (EMB) reported that, yesterday afternoon, through SECOP II, it published Addendum four (4) to the International Public Tender process for the award of the concession contract for the construction, operation, maintenance and financing of Line 2 of the Bogota Metro.
According to this Addendum, the process is extended for two more months in order to guarantee the principles of transparency, neutrality and integrity to the four (4) international participants and to continue defining alternatives to resolve the conflict of interest.
This new deadline was approved with the support of the Multilateral Bank.
So, these are the main dates of the process:
- Submission of offers: December 20, 2024
- Project award: April 24, 2025
