Mexico City, July 8, 2024.- The General Council of the National Cement Chamber ( CANACEM ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Julio Cedeño as its new General Director. With extensive experience in the industrial sector and solid experience in dialogue with authorities for the development and implementation of various policies, he will lead the institution towards new opportunities and challenges.

In his new role, Julio Cedeño will focus on strengthening the positions of the cement industry in Mexico, with emphasis on the sustainability initiatives of the associates, among which the implementation of the Roadmap and efforts towards the decarbonization of the sector, with a view to strengthening the country's cement sector as a global leader in sustainability.
