The IFT delivered the concession titles for the Specialized Mobile Radiocommunication Service for Fleets as a result of the IFT-11 Tender

The Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT) carried out, on August 25 of this year, the delivery of three unique concessions and six concession titles of radioelectric spectrum for commercial use to the winning participants of the "Public Tender to concession the use, exploitation and commercial exploitation of segments of radio spectrum available in the Frequency Band 410-415 / 420-425 MHz for the provision of the Specialized Mobile Radiocommunication Service for Fleets (Tender No. IFT-11).”

This is the first time that frequencies for this service have been awarded through a public bidding process, which was open and transparent. As a result of this process, 92 spectrum blocks in 44 of the 65 Basic Service Areas (ABS) into which the country is divided were assigned to the six winning participants of the IFT-11 Tender.
