La Guajira, February 18. - This Friday in the village of Quebrada Andrea, in the municipality of Dibulla, La Guajira, the Deputy Minister of Energy, Miguel Lotero, delivered the 25,000th connection to the electricity service with solar panels number 25,000 of a home, in what It's run by this government.

Deputy Minister Miguel Lotero stressed that "the connection of 25,000 homes to the electric power service for the first time through solar panels allows us to advance towards the goal of 100,000 connected homes that we set for ourselves in this Government, especially in the areas of most difficult access for the network, thus helping to reduce the gaps in the country".

On the other hand, the village of Quebrada Andrea also received the inauguration of a new school, built with royalty resources assigned to the municipality.

At the end of January 2022, in La Guajira, 1,633 users have been connected to the electricity grid for the first time, with investments of $30,000 million. This result is part of the 25,422 users connected with Photovoltaic Solar Solutions, with an investment of $488,739 million throughout the country.

Likewise, in the remainder of the current administration, it is expected to connect another 18,287 users through solar solutions of this type, thanks to the projects that are underway in different areas of the country.
