Bnamericas
A fault in the transmission line connecting the Carrasco and San Jose substations in Bolivia's Cochabamba department Wednesday cut power to capital city La Paz, as well as Cochabamba, Oruro, Sucre and Potosi, the government reported. The power deficit was 120MW and the maximum outage was close to an hour. The country's power regulator is investigating the causes. Transmission company TDE, a subsidiary of Spain's REE, owns the 230kV line in which the fault occurred.
