Vallas Verdes P2 to get US$26mn

Colombia's Urban Development Institute (IDU) will release US$26mn to start the second phase of its road maintenance program according to a press release. The money will be spent repairing 20 main roads over a two-year period. Completion of the second phase will mean that 29 artieral roads, 39.6% of the country's network, will be have repaired. Phase 1 began in July with a US$24mn investment. The project is part of the IDU's Vallas Verdes initiative to improve urban road conditions.
