ViceroyEx to take over Trillion

Vancouver-based Viceroy Exploration (ViceroyEx) said it has signed an agreement to acquire exploration company Consolidated Trillion Resources (OTCBB: TLNOF) via a stock swap. Closing, expected by the end of October, depends on regulatory and shareholder approvals, among other things, including ViceroyEx raising at least Cdn$1mn of additional capital and obtain a listing on a Canadian stock exchange. ViceroyEx was born out of a reorganization of Viceroy Resource Corporation that was completed on June 30. ViceroyEx's principal asset is the Gualcamayo gold project in northwest Argentina. It also has three other projects in the high Andes of Argentina: Evelina, Las Carachas/Cordon de la Brea and Las Fleches.
