Water utility Sanepar to invest in sanitation
Sanepar, the water utility in Brazil's Paraná state, is planning to invest to improve the sanitation system in Foz do Iguaçu.
The investment is expected for next year and will be aimed at improving sanitation in the industrial area of the locality on the border with Paraguay. Sanepar did not disclose the amount to be invested, however.
The project reportedly includes almost 8,000m of pipeline, as well as the construction of a new sewage lifting station.
"Some areas already receive attention partially, so the company will be involved in network expansion programs for each location," Sanepar's manager Nilton Perez said, according to a release
