YPFB has 28 hydrocarbon exploration projects to replenish reserves

Likewise, three projects are in approval procedures: Madre Selva – X1 IE, Vitiacua – X1 and Sauce Mayu – X1.

The projects related to the search for gas condensate are: Itacaray – X1, Los Monos X13D, Astillero – X1, Curiche – X1010, Curiche – X1011, Sipotindi – X1, Villamontes – X7, Chaco Oeste – X1 ST2, Chaco Este – X2, East Chaco X4, East Chaco X5 D and Dome Bear – X3. The projects concerning liquids are: Yarará – X1, Yope – X1, Yarará – X2 and Las Delicias – X1.

There are also four stratigraphic research wells, which are Mayaya Centro – X1 IE, Gomero – X1 IE, Chané NW – X1 IE and Madre Selva – X1 IE.

“We handle different types of projects. We have an intensive plan to use the existing facilities that allow us to transport hydrocarbons to Sao Paolo and Buenos Aires, which means that we are going to look for projects close to these infrastructures”, added the president of YPFB.

Additionally, the negotiation of contracts for the Carandaiti, Yuarenda, Sayurenda, Ovai, Florida Este and Arenales projects have been completed and oil services contracts are being signed, after review of the draft bills and subsequent authorization and legislative approval.
