The efficient work during these last three administrations has made YPFB internationalized and has a presence in Paraguay, Uruguay and the United States with the aim of reducing logistical costs for the field of hydrocarbon exploration, energy and crude oil imports.

“YPFB Chaco in Houston, USA, through its subsidiary Chaco Petroleum Procurement Inc., will import materials for exploration and exploitation. This not only generates significant economic savings, but also accelerates times in order to efficiently comply with the Upstream Reactivation Plan (PRU) with the perspective of improving hydrocarbon production,” said Jerry Fletcher, general manager of YPFB. Chaco, subsidiary of the state oil company.

YPFB with its affiliates and subsidiaries develop the Upstream Reactivation Plan, which consists of 47 projects, with the objective of greater production of gas and liquids in favor of greater income for the country and guaranteeing energy security.

“The presence of the YPFB Chaco subsidiary in the US was established at the beginning of the current administration and aims to save between 20% and 30% in costs,” said Fletcher.

YPFB is a corporation that ensures efficient operations to comply and supply the national market.
