Description: The project involves the expansion of the southern access, Route 206, and the northern access, Route 202, to the city of Valdivia to a dual carriageway, improving road safety conditions, service level and comfort for users on both routes. The northern access to Valdivia, Route 202, begins at DM 1,222, to the west of the intersection with Route 5, Enlace Valdivia Norte in the commune of Mariquina and ends before reaching the Santa Elvira sector in the urban area of Valdivia. It includes a bypass in the Villa Callumapu sector and the implementation of a dual carriageway from DM 42,000, El Arenal sector, which will connect with the local road that currently has that profile. The southern access to Valdivia, Route 206, begins west of the Valdivia Sur Interchange in the commune of Paillaco, and ends at the intersection of Avda. Ramón Picarte with Circunvalación Sur. From DM 39,900 (Loma del Sol sector) an urban profile will be implemented in a dual carriageway with a minimum shoulder, curb and sidewalks on both sides of the road at main intersections, which will have traffic lights to allow vehicle movement and pedestrian crossings. The project will allow users of the route to have a constant speed of between 100 and 120 km/h, and in sectors with specific restrictions 80 km/h. Additionally, the improvement of the current routes will ensure road safety conditions, as well as minimise travel times between the main cities of the province of Valdivia. The project will be built in stages: First stage: Subsectors A and C Second stage: Subsectors B and D
