The water supply necessary for the initiative will be provided by an authorized third party and will be delivered through a connection to the existing aqueduct. Therefore, it is not considered to continue with the use of the surface and underground water exploitation rights that it has in the Loa River and the Calama aquifer, which are currently used to supply the mining operations. The initiative will be located in the areas currently used by the mining operations of Lomas Bayas, specifically, in the commune of Sierra Gorda, province of Antofagasta, Antofagasta Region.
