Description: Alghero Solar Photovoltaic Plant Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The Alghero Solar Photovoltaic Plant Project, hereinafter “the Project”, consists of the construction and operation of a photovoltaic solar plant with a nominal power of 18.24 MWp, which will provide approximately 7 .7 MW of energy to the National Electric System (SEN), through a medium voltage evacuation line of 12 kV and approximately 2.55 kilometers in length to the defined connection point. Additionally, the Project will have an energy storage system using lithium-ion batteries of the BESS (Battery Energy System Storage) type, which will allow injecting part of the energy produced during the day at times of greatest electrical demand, which normally correspond to night periods. It is also possible that BESS systems provide other types of service to the network, such as voltage and frequency control, service recovery, among others. The Project will be located inside the Hijuela Number “Seis” ROL 272-200; Lot “Tres” ROL 272-68 and Los Quillalles, San José ROL 272-46, all located in the Commune of Algarrobo, Province of San Antonio, Valparaíso region. In a total area of 29.96 hectares. The objective of the Project is to capture solar energy and transform it into electrical energy, in order to inject approximately 7.7 MW into the SEN, through an evacuation line of 12 kV and approximately 2.55 kilometers in length that will connect with the established connection point. , contemplating a storage system by means of Lithium ion batteries, with the purpose of injecting said energy into the National Electric System.
