Alignment of local roads in the municipality of São Domingos do Maranhão-ma

Description: Adaptation of rural roads in the municipality of São Domingos do Maranhão-MA. Agricultural communities in the municipality: Baixão da Lagoa, Conduru, Lagoa dos Patos, Sumaúma, small producers and farmers, with 200 families, around 9,000 people to benefit, producers of corn, pineapple, milk, fish, pigs and poultry in the municipality, with an area benefited of 2,000 hectares. Improve the trafficability of rural roads to drain production in a definitive and efficient manner. The precariousness of rural roads impedes the fluidity of agricultural production, constant rains, and natural wear and tear of roads lead the municipality to carry out works on several rural roads. For this reason, there is a need to provide better traffic conditions for all producers in rural areas, so that they remain in the countryside and strengthen crop diversification. Optimize the trafficability and flow of agricultural production, as well as the transportation of agricultural inputs and machinery, and the movement of families to public services, thus improving the quality of life of the rural population.
