The Uribia - Puerto Bolívar section runs on flat terrain parallel to the existing Cerrejón Mining railway line. Its alignment is practically straight, and it is made up of a corridor with an average width of 12 m, with a rolling surface at paved level. The project is part of the public works program Roads for Legality and Reactivation, Vision 2030 and aims at the improvement, maintenance, property, social and environmental sustainable management of the Alta Guajira Uribia - Puerto Bolívar - Estrella - Wayú Roads and Cabo de la Vela - San Martín Connection Corridor. The project is divided into 3 sections: Section 1: Uribia – Puerto Bolivar Section 2: San Martin – Cape of the Sail Section 3: San Martin – Nazareth
