Anchoris solar park (Anchoris II and IV)

Description: The project entails the construction of a solar park with 359,856 photovoltaic modules on a 410ha property in the Carrizal district, department of Luján de Cuyo, Argentina. The project has been formulated in two stages. The first stage is Anchoris II of 115MW, located in the vicinity of the existing transformer station, while the second one is called Anchoris IV of 65MW. The connection of the Anchoris park will evacuate the generated energy through an interconnection, whose connection will be made in a cell train located at the Anchoris transformer station. The Anchoris IV park will be connected to a medium voltage line that runs from the northwest end of the solar park to the Anchoris transformer station. The park will generate 320.68GWh annually, which will be equivalent to the annual consumption of 126,253 homes. The development of the initiative will prevent the emission of 242,407t/y of CO2. The development of the project corresponds to the growing demands for energy, the increased concern for the environment, nature and quality of life and the need to use new, clean energy sources that contribute to building a solid energy supply, with guarantees of sustainable supply.
