Antilco Photovoltaic Park

Description: Antilco Photovoltaic Park Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The Project that is submitted to the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA) is called “Antilco Photovoltaic Park” (hereinafter the Project), which will be located in the La Negra Sector , in the Commune, Province and Region of Antofagasta. The Project corresponds to a Photovoltaic Solar Plant (PSF) destined to the generation of electrical energy, from solar energy. The energy generated by the Project will be injected into the National Electric System (hereinafter SEN), through a 23 kV Medium Voltage Power Line (LMT) for its connection to the Distribution Network in the Portezuelo Feeder. The Project will be made up of 30,072 photovoltaic panels, which leads to an installed power of 15 MWp and a nominal power of 9 MW. Additionally, the Project considers a storage system with lithium-ion batteries and a Medium Voltage Power Line (LMT), consisting of 30 poles, with an approximate length of 1.4 km. The objective of the Project is the generation of electrical energy, from solar radiation, and its injection into the National Electric System (SEN) continuously in the hours of availability of the solar resource and provide energy in hours after solar sunset, being able to participate of other services, such as services complementary to transmission from the integration of an energy storage system.
