Description: The project consists of the construction of the two remaining components of the Berazategui System, a global sanitation program that seeks solutions for the entire Aguas y Saneamientos Argentinos concession area, especially for the riparian area of the Río de la Plata. The Emissary will be in charge of pouring the liquids treated by the Bicentenario Plant 7.5km from the coast of the Río de la Plata, far from the current intakes, thus completing the purification process. Meanwhile, the Pumping Station will push the treated water, at a maximum flow rate of 33.6 m3/s, towards a loading chamber for subsequent transport through the Emissary. These additions will allow the Treatment Plant to increase its treatment and disposal capacity, achieving greater flexibility and reliability in the collection system to continue the expansion of sanitation coverage in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires. The works are complementary to the Riachuelo System.
