Description: Block 8 comprises a mining complex for the extraction and treatment of iron ore and a water dam that will serve the company and local communities. The project aims to extract and transform low-grade iron ore into a high-quality product. The flow of production will occur via a slurry pipeline, named Lotus 1, from Minas Gerais to Bahia. The project had its origin in the former Vale do Rio Pardo project, which underwent major optimizations to promote the reduction of environmental impacts and increase its operational safety and was renamed to Block 8, and includes the project Lotus 1.
