Offshore Wind Transmission Lines Substations

Description: The project involves the construction of an offshore wind farm in front of the municipality of Caucaia, Ceará state, Brazil. The complex will consist of 59 wind turbines: 48 offshore wind turbines with a power of 12MW and 11 2MW generators built at the ends of 11 piers to be built to solve the problem of erosion on the Icaraí coast. The initiative will deliver energy to 800,000 residences and will generate 2,000 jobs in the installation phase. It is estimated that when it reaches its maximum production level, the complex will be able to supply the energy demand of 30% of the state of Ceará.
