Description: The project entails the construction and operation of an underwater cable that will connect Le Lamentin (Martinique) and Baby Beach (Aruba). The submarine cable system will also land in St. Thomas (United States-Virgin Islands), San Juan (Puerto Rico), Boca Raton (United States), Harbor Point (Antigua and Barbuda), Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and Cartagena (Colombia). This new infrastructure will be able to sustain traffic growth for all citizens of Aruba and the French Caribbean territories until at least 2050 with almost unlimited bandwidth, low latency and high resilience. This new infrastructure will improve their connectivity with the rest of the world and they will be equally connected as continental users from a digital point of view. The cable will have a minimum of eight fiber pairs.
