Description: The Coatzacoalcos project calls for the construction and operation of a 60MW cogen plant in Mexico's Veracruz state. OHL Industrial Power will build the plant with Spanish engineering and construction firm Sener for Grupo Cydsa at the salt refining facility of its subsidiary Sales del Istmo. The contract includes an option for OHL to carry out operation and maintenance for the first two years. The US$53mn cogen plant will include a Rolls-Royce Trent 60 aeroderiviative gas turbine and a heat recovery steam generator. Steam generated from the plant will be used at the local salt facility and the power will be exported.
