Fifty point twenty-five percent of the energy produced by the project is based on solid waste. Regarding the interconnection to the National Interconnected Electric System (SENI), it contemplates a substation to be interconnected to the existing 138kV ZF Santiago - El Naranjo line. The initiative will be located in the La Emboscada area, Rafey section, municipality of Santiago, Dominican Republic.
