These operational modifications, both underground and on the surface, do not modify the mineral extraction and processing rates of the original authorized project. The project is located inside the mining easements of the Chuquicamata Division, in the region of Antofagasta, province of El Loa, commune of Calama, 8.6km from the urban area of Calama and approximately 200km northeast of the city of Antofagasta.
