This second stage will have a projected area of 5,740 hectares, which will result in a total area of 8,183 irrigable hectares. The works necessary to complete the infrastructure of this Stage include the Main Pumping Station II, main ducts I and II, secondary canal CS-2, tertiary canals CT-2.2 and CT-2.4, water intakes, secondary pumping stations, system pipe distribution, drainage network, road system, among others. Access to the perimeter, from Teresina, is through the BR-343 highway, which crosses the project area in a south-north direction. It is estimated that the entire project will require an investment of 300mn reais.
