Description: Construction of a stormwater gallery and surface drainage system. The population to benefit from the project is estimated at 82,468 inhabitants (IBGE 2021). Since the center of the municipality of Três Rios is the main commercial and service region of the municipality, the entire population will benefit, including those from neighboring municipalities, since Três Rios is the region's hub municipality. Solution for the constant seasonal flooding, consequently the losses caused to residents and merchants, the interruption of traffic in the city center and the difficulty in carrying out maintenance services, due to the state of the current system. With the new gallery and the proposed works, the drainage of rainwater from the entire area of Praça São Sebastião and surrounding areas will be more effective, with no more flooding of the streets, certainly solving several related problems.
