The objective of the works is to replace the current underground source of water for human consumption in the metropolitan area of Durango, with surface water made drinkable through the Guadalupe Victoria dam and a Conduction-Potabilization system integrated by intake work, reservoir pumping, water treatment and aqueducts, to take it to the delivery point in the city and be distributed to the population through a circuit made up of 18 megatanks and their respective networks.
