Potable water system

Description: Implementation, expansion and improvement of the water supply system in the municipality of Praia Grande/SC. With the acquisition of the object, all residents of the municipality of Praia Grande, 8,270 inhabitants (IBGE 2022) will be served, as well as tourists and visitors, who have been growing significantly in the municipality. The current treatment system is quite old and already works above its design capacity, which causes difficulties in maintaining water quality within the current required values and, in addition, the system as a whole no longer allows the growing demand estimated for the coming years to be met. A modern plant with greater treatment capacity would solve all these problems. The implementation of the new treatment plant is expected to bring quality treated water to the entire municipal population, ensuring supply in quantity and quality, preventing the spread of diseases, meeting demand and improving the quality of life of the citizens.
