Cypress Solar Park

Description: The “Ciprés Solar Park” corresponds to the construction and operation of a photovoltaic park framed within Non-Conventional Renewable Energy (NCRE) intended for the generation of electrical energy from photovoltaic solar technology, whose nominal power will be 9 MW. The Project will be developed on an area of approximately 17.5 Ha, where permanent and temporary works will be incorporated. The Project will be located in the Ñuble region, in the province of Diguillín, commune of Yungay, located in a rural environment approximately 30.3 km from the city of Yungay. Being an NCRE project, the operation will contribute to reducing emissions of polluting gases that cause the greenhouse effect (GHG) such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx) as well as particulate matter, associated with electricity generation based on the burning of fossil fuels, thereby reducing carbon footprint indices. The main objective of the Project is to build and operate a 9 MW photovoltaic plant to produce clean electrical energy from solar energy. To do this, a Photovoltaic Park will be installed, whose nominal power will be 9 MW, which will be evacuated to the National Electrical System through an existing high-voltage line.
