Description: Duqueco Solar Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The “Duqueco Solar” Project corresponds to a new photovoltaic park located about 5 km southeast of the city of Los Angeles, in the Los Angeles Commune, Biobío Region. The Project will generate clean energy through the construction of a 9 MW AC photovoltaic solar power plant, which is why it is considered as a small means of distributed generation (PMGD) based on non-conventional renewable energies (NCRE). The photovoltaic park will consist of up to approximately 35,000 panels, installed with single-axis tracker technology, which are separated into 4 zones. In addition, it considers the construction of a medium voltage (23 kV) power line (Interconnection Line) with a length of approximately 106 m, which will be connected to the National Electric System (SEN), considering a direct connection splice to the existing feeder medium voltage, owned by the company SAESA FRONTEL Distribución. The access to the Project will be an existing footprint located inside the property in which the Project is located of approximately 10 m, to then continue along an internal road of 150 m to the slaughter facility, which will have an approximate area of 24 ha considering the total facilities. It will have a useful life of 25 years and the access to the Project, for all its phases, will be from Route 5 South at approximately kilometer 523 and then continue along Route 177 that joins Route 5 South with Avenida Las Industrias through of a clover From the cloverleaf continue along Avenida Las Industrias to take a northeasterly direction for 483 m and then the Los Copihues rural road to the East for 600 m where the access to the Project is located, entering the slaughter facility and all the Project areas. The objective of the “Duqueco Solar” Project is the generation of electrical energy from solar energy, through a photovoltaic park whose maximum power to be injected into the distribution network is 9 MW AC, considering a nominal power of 12 MW AC . The Project will use the renewable resources that the Biobío Region presents for the production of clean and non-polluting energy during its entire operation phase, for which the project is framed in the context of Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (NCRE). In recent years, energy demand has been growing throughout the world and in our country as well, both at a communal and regional level. Additionally, climate change and concern for the environment have generated the search for sustainable alternatives for energy generation. Therefore, this type of project, such as "Duqueco Solar", contributes to the development of a diverse energy matrix for the country, delivering clean energy to the local distribution network and the National Electric System (SEN), since they do not generate emissions. pollutants during its operation, such as PM10 and PM2.5 and gases into the atmosphere such as Sulphur, CO2, CO, Lead, etc.
