The initiative, which will inject the produced power into Chile’s Central Interconnected System (SIC), includes a transmission line and a sectioning substation. The natural gas required for the operation of the gas turbine will be fed from a connection to the Gasoducto del Pacífico, existing infrastructure owned by a third party, which crosses the property where the plans the installation of the plant. Estimated natural gas consumption during the operation phase is 2,500,000m3/d. Construction will demand around 457 workers, while operation will require 108 people.
