Description: The “Energética Solar El Membrillo” Project corresponds to a new Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant (CSF) that will be located in the Metropolitan Region, province of Melipilla, commune of San Pedro. This Project will generate clean energy through the construction of a Solar Plant that considers the installation of 13,860 photovoltaic modules or panels, which corresponds to an installed power of 9 MW in alternating current (AC). In addition to the above, the Project will have an energy storage system using BESS batteries (Battery Energy Storage System) so that the energy generated can be injected, on a deferred basis, into the National Electric System (SEN). . In this sense, the Project considers an integrated system of photovoltaic panels and energy storage. For the evacuation of the generated energy, the Project considers the construction of a 23 kV power line (medium voltage line), which will be connected to the “El Membrillo” feeder. It should be noted that from the feeder connection point "El Membrillo" to the "Santa Rosa" substation, an existing station will be used to transmit the energy produced to the National Electric System (SEN). The Project will be developed on an area of approximately 17.13 hectares, while the medium voltage line will have a length of approximately 75.83 m. The Project will be accessed from Route G-680, to the CSF access point. Regarding the operation and surveillance of the Plant, it is clarified that this will be carried out remotely and in real time, also having a Video Surveillance System in the Plant. In the solar field, only maintenance activities, panel cleaning and equipment inspection will be carried out, which will be carried out on a scheduled basis every 6 months. The Project considers a duration of the Operation Phase of 35 years, which may be extended because the operation (or operation) of the solar plant will depend on technological improvements that allow the equipment to be changed to the extent that market conditions justify the investment. . The objective of the Project is the generation of electrical energy from solar radiation, supplying its generated energy to the existing distribution network, promoting decarbonization, advancing the sustainability of the energy sector and allowing participation in potential opportunities.
