Description: El Peñón Photovoltaic Park Power generation plants greater than 3 MW The "El Peñón Photovoltaic Park" corresponds to a project for the generation of electricity through non-conventional renewable energy (ERNC), which will generate clean energy through the construction of a power station of 9,000 kWac (10,466.00 kWp), and its 23 kV transmission line. The park corresponds to a new project and will be built in one stage. The project is located in the commune of Coquimbo, Elqui Province, Coquimbo Region, Chile, in a rural setting approximately 39 km south of the communal capital, Coquimbo. The referential coordinates of the plot are the following: 280315 [m] E, 6654123 [m] S (WGS 84, zone 19 J). The project is located on an area of 24 Ha and has a perimeter of 2,205 m. To this is added the protection strip of the energy evacuation line with a surface area of 1.25 Ha. and the area of the access road of 0.68 Ha., resulting in a total area of 24.93 Ha. The objective general of the PFV El Peñón corresponds to the generation of electrical energy from solar energy, for which a photovoltaic park will be installed, whose installed power will be 10,500.00 kWp, which will be evacuated, with a maximum of 9.0 MWac at the existing distribution network, after conversion and transformation.
