El Sauce Photovoltaic Park

Description: The El Sauce PF corresponds to a Small Distributed Generation Means (PMGD) Project through Non-Conventional Renewable Energy (NCRE) that will produce clean energy through the construction and operation of a Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant (PF) of 11 MW of nominal power or installed capacity, which will be injected into the Central Interconnected System (SIC), current National Electric System (SEN), through an existing medium voltage power line called “Sector Pancho Cayuqueo”, concession of FRONTEL, a subsidiary of the group SAESA. The Project will be made up of 21,168 photovoltaic panels of 530 Wp, which are divided into two groups that connect with two integrated investment and transformation centers of 4,600 KWac. The panels will be mounted on metal structures with a horizontal solar tracker on one axis. The Project will be connected to the nearest existing network and the energy will be evacuated through an electrical line composed of an underground section (653 m) and an aerial section (13 m), using insulated copper and aluminum conductor, splicing to the pole No. FG3135. The objective of the Project is the generation of electrical energy through the use of technologies that use sources of Non-Conventional Renewable Energy (NCRE), specifically, solar radiation. In this way, the operation of a photovoltaic park with a nominal power of 11 MW is contemplated, which will contribute 9 MW to the National Electric System (SEN).
