The project will rise above the Ermita Iztapalapa boulevard and will extend from the Constitución de 1917 terminal station to the Acahualtepec provisional terminal station, near the Autonomous University of Mexico City (UACM), establishing connection with Metro Line No. 8 . The trolleybus will have 35 electric buses that will travel at a maximum speed of 35 km/h and expects to transport between 130,000 and 160,000 passengers a day throughout its 11 stops. In future stages, the expansion of the line is planned in two directions: one towards the Santa Marta station, to connect with Line A of the metro, and another towards Mixcoac.
