It will benefit more than 1,370 farmers. In non-drought years it is estimated that the reservoir can supply 100% of household water needs and 85% of agricultural demand. In drought years, it will provide subsistence levels of water. This reservoir will be located in the Valparaíso region in the valley of the Los Ángeles' estuary, which flows into the La Ligua river. The project is part of the National Regulation and Reservoir Plan (PNRE).
