Description: Developed by YPFB Transporte, the expansion of Gasoducto al Altiplano (GAA) was splitted in four phases. Phase III, started in 2007 and concluded in july 2013, increased GAA capacity from 34.5 Mf3/d to 68.5 Mf3/d. Phase IV was divided in three phases. The first started in 2013 and involved a capacity increase of 0.4Mf3/d through a 12 inches diameter line in the 10km Huayñakota-Parotani tranche. Second phase comprised a 12 inches diameter line and 6km lenght between Pongo and Totoroco. Both phases were completed in july, 2013, increasing the capacity of the pipeline from 68.5Mf3/d to 76.3Mf3/d. Third stage of phase IV will be started in 2014. It includes the construction of three compression stations at Totoroco, Sica Sica y Huayñakhota and a 12 inches diameter line and 10.8km length at Senkata. Construction will be completed in 2015 leaving the pipeline with a capacity of 89.1Mf3/d
