Description: Expansion of the drinking water supply system in the municipality of Muriaé-MG. 89,939 inhabitants. The most up-to-date study of water demand calculation for each system, prepared in rev. 01 of the PMSB, reached the demand to be met in 2019 of 254.22 l / s and 2040 of 294.31 l / sp / for the Gávea WTP system. The existing adductor has a capacity for 240.00 l / s with the use of a pump, and the WTP can treat 240 l / s. In the project of the dist. in red, the total demand of 14.33 l / s (2018) and 17.36 l / s (2048) was reached, and the existing wells have a capacity of 11.68 l / s. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out these works. The implementation of the works will make it possible to meet the current and future demands of residents, in addition to providing greater safety in the operation of the systems, since the existing raw water pipeline was built with some overhead sections, which are subject to a greater risk of rupture. Regarding the red pipeline, the population will no longer suffer from water shortages during the critical summer periods. ID: 42613.31-75
