Description: Expansion of the water supply system in the urban area of the municipality of Jequié. The water supply system (SAA) of Jequié serves a population of 185,584 inhabitants (55,899 families) at the beginning of the plan and 224,432 inhabitants (67,600 families) at the end of the plan. The municipality has problems with its water distribution system, which has led to difficulties in the continuity of the supply service. The existing networks do not cover the entire headquarters of Jequié, and some sections are undersized. These problems were generated due to the speed of densification of the city, which in turn was not accompanied by the water distribution system. The project aims to expand and improve the SAA in order to serve the headquarters and the districts of Baixão and Fazenda Velha in the municipality of Jequié, contributing to meeting the goal of service continuity and bringing positive effects to people's lives, through regular supply and, in the social sphere, the local economy should be prioritized, through hiring and acquisitions. The proposed alternatives and the design of the system are detailed in the attached project. ID: 42999.29-77
